All MixModeler charts include interactive features that enable detailed exploration, focus on specific periods, and precise value inspection.

Purpose: Navigate charts dynamically, explore data in detail, and extract maximum insights from visualizations.

Zoom Functionality

Mouse Wheel Zoom

How to Use:

  1. Hover mouse over chart

  2. Scroll wheel up to zoom in

  3. Scroll wheel down to zoom out

  4. Maintains aspect ratio

Best For:

  • Quick zoom adjustments

  • Incremental magnification

  • Exploring different zoom levels

Selection Box Zoom

How to Use:

  1. Click and hold on chart

  2. Drag to create selection box

  3. Release to zoom to selected area

  4. Precise control over zoom region

Best For:

  • Focusing on specific time periods

  • Detailed examination of patterns

  • Campaign period analysis

Zoom Buttons

Toolbar Controls:

  • Zoom In (➕): Step-wise magnification

  • Zoom Out (➖): Step-wise reduction

  • Zoom: Enter zoom mode

  • Reset (🔄): Return to original view

Pan Navigation

How to Use:

  1. Zoom into chart first

  2. Click and hold on chart

  3. Drag left/right (or up/down for scatter plots)

  4. Release to stop panning

Best For:

  • Navigating when zoomed in

  • Exploring different time periods at same zoom level

  • Moving through long time series

Tip: Pan only works when zoomed in

Tooltip Information

Activation:

  • Hover mouse over any data point or line

  • Tooltip appears automatically

  • Follows mouse movement

Information Shown:

Line Charts:

  • Date/time period

  • Variable name

  • Exact value

  • All series at that point

Scatter Plots:

  • X variable value

  • Y variable value

  • Time period (if labeled)

Bar/Stacked Charts:

  • Date/period

  • Variable name

Correlation Matrix:

  • Variable names (row & column)

  • Correlation value

  • Color interpretation

Legend Interaction

Click to Hide/Show:

  1. Click on legend item

  2. Series disappears from chart

  3. Click again to show

  4. Multiple series can be hidden

Customizable Chart Title

How to Edit:

  1. Click in title text box (above chart)

  2. Type new title

  3. Press Enter or click outside

  4. Title updates immediately
